- NOTE: Incredible short film done here in
Tampa, and near the top of our top ten list. Written by Paul Guzzo, who
did an awesome job writing the script, and directed by his brother Pete
Guzzo (these guys have a lot to be desired as film festival organizers,
with their flawed Tampa Film Review, but as filmmakers, they are impressive).
Top notch acting (it's good to see Jereme Badger in a new film) and camera
work, too, and the fact that this film was done in two days last week
for the 48 hour film project makes it even more amazing. This film has
to be seen to be believed. This film was shot using a high-end Red camera,
an HD camera which few Tampa filmmakers have access to. The DP, Erik Curtis,
and his camera team did a slick job, and they are ones to watch in the
Tampa indie film scene. We don't see how the other entries in the 48 hour
film project could have competed against this treasure. Any chance of
a feature film?

Rose plays Bree, a 16-17 year old girl with select few friends, a menagerie
of stuffed animals, and some interesting life issues in this video blog
series that began as an Internet hoax. The plot is loose due to the video
blog expositional structure, and what began as a teen drama/ comedy is
now a bizarre story of a cult and the twists that come with it.

well. A film that looks this good should be possible in the Tampa indie
